The only series that more or less has stayed true to its genre is Fast and Furious. The eighth instalment gives the wonderful adrenaline rush, the needed horsepower keeping you at a good pace at the edge of your seats most of the times. It has some jaw dropping moments too and one scene is definitely gonna remind you of the famous car game The Road Fighter. It is indeed great fun watching the entire hijack auto drive sequence.
Right from the word Go, the first race scene itself is fiery and killer. Followed by the great story and how Vin Diesel is taken for a ride to do the evil working against his team is what makes the eighth series fun to watch to. Dwayne Johnson is brilliant too portraying almost incredible hulk in some of the action scenes. Charlize Theron rightly seduces Vin Diesel to get the job done taking him for a brilliant ride along with the seated audience.
Chris Morgan’s writing is crisp and the plot doesn’t let you lose you attention. It is rightly paced. Gary Gray’s direction is brilliant and keeps you hooked throughout.
Over the top the film is a visual delight too, action sequences vary right from New York City New York, Manhattan, Cuba and arctic icy plains making a cinematic delight. 3D is being worked upon mostly on the view than the effects, though it had a great scope of bringing in the wow factor. Nevertheless, Fast and Furious brings you one of the best racy and edgy thrill on your seats.
Go Fast and furious and enjoy the eight instalment.
