Celebrating its 25 fashionable years in India, the leading Italian fashion brand, United Colors of Benetton today announced the opening of its first ever Family Store in Dehradun as a part of its celebratory expansion plans, with stylish, young and flamboyant Bollywood heartthrob Kartik Aaryan.
Spread across an area of 4500 sq. ft. the two-storey store is located on the buzzy Rajpur Road and is based on the Benetton’s newest retail concept, ‘On Canvas’. The new fashion door is touted to be the largest Benetton store in the city and boasts of the most modernized store architecture with a combination of technology and emotional experience.
Commenting on the launch of the new store, Mr. Sundeep Chugh, CEO & MD, Benetton India said “Dehradun is a key market for Benetton in North India and our two existing stores have received great response from the fashion lovers in the city. The afternoon was filled with excitement, celebrations and all things fashion led, by the young Bollywood favourite Kartik Aaryan, who gave a walk-through of the latest collection, handpicking his favorite styles from the men’s section. Sharing his excitement on Benetton’s 25 years in India and being a part of this new launch, Kartik said, “Firstly, I would like to congratulate Benetton India on completing 25 glorious years in India. Benetton has been one of my favorite brands since my growing up years and I am thrilled to be a part of this launch celebration in Dehradun. I absolutely love the new collection which has the fresh, bright colors and the iconic stripes. I admire Benetton for the fact that they target all the age groups, be it youth or kids. I’ve always been a big fan of their campaigns.”
The store will showcase the chic, contemporary and playful sillhoettes of Spring-Summer across categories for men, women and kids. The latest collection encapsulates the sense of style and celebrates the history of Italian craftmanship. With a colour palette of summer, shades of bordeaux reds & oxide yellows stand out as the kick-off colours for the season, moving through to tonal inky blues and pops of water-colour blue hues as the months warm up. Summer white and pastels take a new approach to occasion-wear mid-season, while buttercup yellow, tropical blue and neon shades dominate high summer.
